GSoC 2018 - gathering project ideas

Hey Everyone,

GSoC 2018 organization applications open this week. Unfortunately we won’t
have time this year to schedule a brainstorming meeting to come up with
ideas. However, we should still organize our projects for the students to
look at. For all of those interested in being a mentor, please add a
project idea to the “Google Summer of Code 2018 with the Fluid Project
<https://wiki.fluidproject.org/display/fluid/Google+Summer+of+Code+2018+with+the+Fluid+Project>”
wiki page. There is a template provided, and you can also look at past
years for further reference (e.g 2017
<https://wiki.fluidproject.org/display/fluid/Google+Summer+of+Code+2017+with+the+Fluid+Project>
).

The application deadline is Tuesday Jan 23. Please let me know if you’d
like to mentor a project before then, as we need to indicate how many
project we’d like to mentor.

If you have an idea, but are looking for a co-mentor, please feel free to
co-ordinate here on list. Also, feel free to post any questions  here as
well.
