Ideas for the "Introduction to Design" Community Workshop

Hi All,

Sepideh and I are planning the community meeting next week. There had been a request to talk about design principles, and Sepideh sent an email out a couple of weeks ago soliciting ideas for what you would like to discuss. 

We didn’t hear back from many of you, so we wanted to let you know what we are currently planning, and if you have any additional suggestions please let us know.

We were thinking to discuss some of the Principles and Practices that we have included in the Inclusive Design Guide <http://guide.inclusivedesign.ca/index.html>, with particular focus on the challenges that we encounter when using/applying them. We’d like to acknowledge these challenges and brainstorm some solutions. In a number of cases, we have defined brief activities related to the principles, and we are planning to work through these activities as part of the process. We would also like to get your feedback on the effectiveness of these activities, and any suggestions you may have for new ones.
