Summary of "Framework Futures" meeting recommendations

Hi, Antranig,

I'm catching up on the information about the framework changes. Thanks for your emails to the list (and to others who have forwarded me their notes).

I'm sure I'll have more questions as I continue, but for now, just one:


> i) Every component written from now on should have "autoInit" applied - and we be making a continuous effort from now on to upgrade all old code to this standard.

Is "autoInit" now the default, or are we still required to manually include "autoInit" in the list of gradeNames? If it is not the default, might we consider making it the default?
