Cloud4All use cases

Jutta!
Great stuff is going on here actually. We have been doing a lot of thinking about this space and are trying a number of things:
1. we want to think about "extreme" users for Cloud4All, people who might not 'get in the door' to use technology at all without the system
2. we've also been deeply inspired by the Sunaura Taylor/Judith Butler video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0HZaPkF6qE and are doing a number of things with that inspiration:
a. re-thinking terms - in particular disability and impairment and respecting how someone self-identifies
b. trying to find ways to talk about both impairments and disabilities without feeling as though it's taboo or essentializing
We are going to struggle publicly and are going to make mistakes, but I think we're going toward a new way to describe users for our design process -- one that is richer, deeper, and more realistic. Take a look at Sam at the wiki page Dana posted: http://wiki.fluidproject.org/display/fluid/Cloud4All+Preference+Management+Tool+--+Use-Cases
Bear with us as we stumble and try this out.
Best,
Jess

This goes against all our design principles. if we want broad generic categories it would be better to create required characteristics of resources that we need to think about e.g., requires alternative to audio, requires enhancement of audio, etc.
