Preferences for Global Access concept explorations (mind maps)

Hi everyone,

Tona (tonamonjo at gmail.com) and I did some thinking about learning to learn
/ metacognition and how Preferences for Global Access can play a role in
that process. We produced two mind maps:

1. exploration of metacognition and how a student learns their learning
preferences with the guidance of their teacher.
2. a possible Preferences for Global Access system where a learner
specifies or generates a learner preference and the system changes to suit
those preferences.

The two illustrations can be thought of as two sides of the same coin - one
diagram seeks to understand how learning to learn is achieved, and the
other demonstrates how a system may function if the learner has a
preference for learning.

Please take a look and share your thoughts. There is still a lot of
exploration to be done in this area, so your ideas are welcome!
