Component lifecycle hook 'functions' as event listeners?

Hey, Bosmon,

I have a question about the component creation lifecycle hook points.

Technically, the functions that developers can specify are event listeners, which means that technically, they can be specified as event listeners are specified: they can have a namespace and a priority.

My question is this: Is this something we want to let integrators know about? Or do we actually want to prevent them from realizing that these functions technically implemented this way?

Put another way: Do we want to discourage integrators from providing namespaces or priorities?
