Help with diagram, please?

Both diagrams are "correct" (that is, semantically consistent), but it seems fairly clear to me that Diagram A would be the better choice for the context described.
Diagram A visually describes the "world of components", starting with the broadest and drilling its way down to more specific types.
Diagram B illustrates a specific type of component (namely, a Renderer), and shows its composition.
