Fluid Demos Broken in Chrome

Hi Colin,
Thanks for filing a jira for this.
It's something that we've known about for a while, but I guess neglected to file a jira for.
From what I know, any local ajax call in Chrome will not work. I don't think it's a blocker though.
I have looked into this a few times but have yet to find a work around, like we have for firefox. Although, I'm not an everyday user of Chrome.
Here's the chromium issue for it.
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=40787
Thanks
Justin

It looks like Chrome has tightened up their same origin policy rules for the local file system, making it similar but possibly more restrictive than Firefox.
