Glad you'll be visiting the ROM with John!
If you could post a link to your findings to this page [http://wiki.fluidproject.org/display/fluid/Preliminary+Research] under Industry Review - that would be great.
I do have questions on accessibility and the current kiosk interface and physical design. For example the end goal of the kiosk is to produce a printable brochure - does this limit accessibility?
Lets talk more at Tuesday's design meeting!
>> Very cool Center for Universal Design link - Thankx!

It looks like James, John & I will be visiting the ROM this week to check out their kiosks. We'll be documenting our visit of course, but please let me know if there are any particular things regarding the physical design of the kiosk that you want us to look out for, e.g. measurements, placement, materials.
Here is a link to the Center for Universal Design:
While I take with a grain of salt that something can be designed "universally" ;op I still think the site shares some great principles.

Hope you had a great weekend! As suggested, I've written up a draft work plan for the physical kiosk design and related infrastructure research [ http://wiki.fluidproject.org/display/fluid/DRAFT+Work+plan ]
Any feedback would be deeply appreciated. Xiao, Leila and I will be meeting on campus today at 10:00AM PDT (1:00PM EDT) so that we can conference on skype.
Please let me know if you would prefer to meet on breeze or if you have questions!
Talk soon, Vicki
