Framework blockers

Thanks Antranig,

I've tried out the patch for FLUID-3487. All the tests are passing, and the inlineEdit dropdown manual test page is running in FF and IE 8. However, in IE 6 and IE 7 the page won't  even load. It gets an error saying that IE can't open the file.
