Hi James,

Great overview!  You probably are already aware of this - but I believe that Dale put together a very interesting scenario (Gary and Stacy Scenario Final.pdf) that illustrates the map layers for pre-visit planning, lets talk more about this at our design meeting next week!

Best, Vicki

Subject: Mapping tool overview and scenarios up on the wiki

Hey all,

Last week, Alison, Erin, and I spent a couple of days working on what
we should be building for a map tool, based on everything we now know
about our museums and their processes and needs. We've put forward an
overview of a fairly generalized map tool that can be accommodated to
fit different contexts. We also put together a sample set of scenarios
that demonstrate the use of said map tool in these different contexts.
Wireframes to support the overview were also produced.

The overview and scenarios can be found here (wireframes are in the
attachments):
http://wiki.fluidproject.org/display/fluid/Map+tool+overview+and+scenarios

What's next? We'll be talking to our core partners (DIA in particular)
about the plausibility of the scenarios and the usefulness of the tool
as described, refine it as necessary, and move forward on the design
from there.

Cheers,
James
