Hello designers,
I've populated our iteration 2 design tasks into Jira. Tona, Muriel,
and Alistair, I know you have tasks of your own that you've created.
If you could populate them into Jira, that'd be great. Vicki,
everything that's under conceptual mapping is shared with you. Kevin,
I think you were going to explore the experience around the
implementation and use of our tools on the museum side (is that
right?).
At the upcoming Tuesday design we'll talk about where we all are with
our tasks now, and if needed, we can spend time refining our tasks for
the next bit.
The tasks I put into Jira are as follows (a number of them will pour
over into the next iteration):
JAMES
* Review affinity diagram, tease out high-level ideas for tagging,
mapping, mobile interactions, and social, user contribution, emotional
goals into a short list of next directions to visit (+ Muriel)
Mobile
* Talk with Hugues (McCord) to get feedback on mobile wireframes and
scenario (+ Tona)
* Talk with Titus (Experius) and Nancy (SI) to get feedback on refined
post-Hugues conversation mobile wireframes and scenario (+ Tona)
* Refine wireframes based on feedback (+ Tona, Jacob)
* High fidelity artifacts view (+ Tona)
* Work with Jacob, et al. on prototype of artifacts view (collapsable
panels, etc.) (+ Tona)
Conceptual mapping
* Go through notes from FEAH brainstorm and tease out "scenarios" and
ideas with tagging (+ Muriel, Vicki)
* Read up on tagging: steve.museum, other related museum tagging
initiatives (+ Vicki)
* Talk with Jason (MMI) about tagging ideas, schedule follow-ups and
points of input (+ Jess, Vicki)
* Write up a 1-2 page report (scenario, GIT, ?) on tagging vision (+ Vicki)
* Get feedback from advisory board on tagging report (with specific
instructions for feedback and a deadline) (+ Vicki)
* Refine tagging report (+ Vicki)
* Build lo-fi wireframes from write-up (+ Vicki)
* Conversations with Holly and Robin too (+ Vicki)
Spatial mapping
* Read up on the use of RFIDs in museums wrt spatial mapping (re:
McCord RFID resources) (+ Tona, Erin)
* Start a conversation with DIA wrt to spatial mapping needs and
envisioning, schedule follow-ups and points of input into design
process; and articulate into a document to reiterate and refine in
follow-up conversations (+ Tona, Alison, Erin)
* Start a conversation with McCord wrt to RFID + spatial mapping needs
and envisioning, schedule follow-ups and points of input into design
process; and articulate into a document to reiterate and refine in
follow-up conversations (+ Tona, Erin)
