builder bugs

After consultation with Michelle and Anastasia, I've added FLUID-3423 to 
the bug parade.
In addition, we tracked down the problem and have resolved it.

Huge thanks to Alison for catching this today rather than next week 
during QA.

Still need some kingly rulings on the importance of issues found in 
FLUID-3424 and whether anything else should be added to the bug parade.
