All really good ideas! I've filed JIRAs for a few, and have a few  
comments inline for the others.

This might already be available for free to users who choose the  
native video controller provided by the browser, but we'll probably

This is, fortunately, built right into the HTML 5 spec, so we get it  
for free. Probably worth testing, and perhaps exposing a public method  
on the Video Player that allows implementers to toggle this feature on  
and off.
