Absolutely yes, the poll is still open!
However, as a clearer decision is becoming more and more obvious, I think its safe to ask everyone to include any feedback/voting by end of day in your local time zone
All of the relevant feedback will be used to further refine the logo.
Thanks again for all the helpful feedback!
Jacob

So does this mean we can still vote? :)
I vote for #2. But I'm not too keen on the fade toward the top-right, but the design is good!
Also I wonder how Bob (the widget doo-dad in the middle) would look if it were tilted slightly like 5 - 10 degrees counter clockwise.
Good stuff Jacob!

Sorry everyone - I was a bit hasty in closing this.
It should be unlocked at this point.

I'm a bit of a lurker, so maybe my vote counts less, but I think #2 is the hands-down winner ;)

Given the choices, I'm going to have to vote for Logo 2. The cogs in Logo 1 do not look like they are going to mesh -- I can almost hear that dreadful sound of a transmission chewing its own innards. (This from a person who keeps the layshaft<http://auto.howstuffworks.com/transmission1.htm> from a 1968 MGB as a desk ornament.)
Coming back to the fluid/droplet metaphor, I rather like the idea of using an image of droplets fusing, each with its own inner cohesion (there's a word from software engineering), but bonding according to natural laws (physics).

PS: I agree with Antranig about the kerning.

For the sake of expediency (we need to finalize these fairly quickly) I have set up a voting page.
Im sorry if not every piece of feedback has made it into these three choices, but time is pretty short (I've never made a logo in 1.5 days before :P )
Please vote!

You need to be logged in to Confluence - when you are, just click the checkbox you like the best.
Hopefully we can put more time+effort into these at a later date.
Thanks again for all the feedback!
