Uploader 2 designs for 0.6 beta

Hi everyone,

I talked with Daphne, Erin, and Eli last night and we came up with a
plan for how to implement the Uploader designs for 0.6 beta and beyond.

As you know, we've been doing a lot of user testing for Uploader and
refining the interaction based on the results. If I understand it
correctly, one of the areas where there was some user confusion is
handling the Pause and Cancel behaviour.

Erin and Daphne have some great ideas for how to get this behaviour
right. While they explore the possibilities and do a few more user
tests, we agreed to ship a minimalist version of Uploader 2 for the
beta, removing the cancel and pause buttons entirely. This will give
us some space to experiment with different approaches to the problem,
and then we'll implement the chosen solution for 0.6 final.

Justin, this will affect your test plans for Uploader 2 somewhat. Feel
free to ask you need clarity on how to test the new code base and
interaction.

Colin
