Hi Eli,
More Uploader updates from this weekend...
I've moved Uploader 2 into the trunk of fluid-components in
preparation for the upcoming 0.6 beta release. We've certainly got our
work cut out for us over the next couple of days, but I think we're in
good shape to ship a simple version of Uploader 2 in time for the
beta. Having Uploader 2 in trunk means that Justin can keep a closer
eye on our progress and flag any relevant bugs early.
The directory structure for Uploader 2 breaks with convention a bit.
This is a temporary measure so that we can keep both Uploader 1 and 2
working for comparison until we've migrated all the code to the new
architecture.
I've also updated the Image Gallery 2 standalone app to work with
Uploader 2. We now have a working server back end to test with, and
I'll add it to the daily build server tomorrow. The AddImages.html
template now loads the main Uploader 2 markup via Ajax, so we don't
have to worry about maintaining duplicate versions of our markup.
My next step is to flesh out the implementation of the
SWFUploadManager so that it can successfully pass files to the server.
I'm figuring you'll be busy getting the various queue states in place
along with the progress bars.
