all-hands summit hotel reservations

Dear All,

The Fluid all-hands summit scheduled for November 20, 21, and 22nd in  
Berkeley, CA happens to fall on a football weekend between Cal and  
Stanford.  This is a big deal for us because it means that hotel rooms  
are scarce in Berkeley.  As I mentioned earlier, I have reserved a  
block of rooms at the Marriott in Downtown Oakland.  The hotel is a  
short BART ride and then short walk to the Berkeley campus.

Most of you have already expressed an interest in making a  
reservation.  It's finally time.  Please make your reservation before  
November 4th to receive the group rate ($129/night for Nov. 19 arrive  
- Nov. 23rd depart).

To make the reservation, call 1.800.321.2211 and identify yourself as  
a member of the Fluid Project Group Booking.  Your room is not  
guaranteed (nor is the rate) until you have made your own individual  
reservation and placed it on your own credit card.

If your travel dates are different from the above (if you need  
additional or fewer days) please let me know and let the reservation  
agent know as well -- you should still get the same rate.  If you  
could also please let me know when you have made your reservation, it  
will help me keep track of the details of the contract I've signed  
with the hotel.
