Template for iteration plan task list

Hi everyone,

I've created a very simple template in Confluence for our iteration
plan task list. I played around with the Confluence {dynamictasklist}
macro, but found it cumbersome for our simple requirements.

We discussed a workflow for handling story cards, since neither
Greenhopper or CardMeeting have proved sufficient for our needs.
Keeping it simple, we'll just use JIRA and Confluence.

To this end, I've created JIRA Components for each of the UX activity
sections. So you'll see components for design patterns, component
design, UX walkthroughs, user testing, and U-Camps. You can file your
full "story cards" directly as issues in JIRA. I'm in the process of
going through each of the high-level tasks in the release plan and
creating JIRA issues for them. This way, our entire planning process
will be open and transparent.

For getting an at-a-glance view of our priorities for the iteration,
we'll use a simple table in Confluence. This table consists of the
title of the task, a link to its associated JIRA issue, and our time
estimate in "ideal days."

So, to each of the UX coordinators: please go ahead and add your tasks
to this table in Confluence, and link to the associated JIRA issue
providing the full details. Tomorrow at 9 am PST / 12 pm, we'll get
together again and finish our prioritization.

Let me know if you have any questions or would like me to walk you
through the process.

Colin
