Bug Parade for the 0.6 release

May I suggest that we all try to update the JIRA we are currently  
working on to "In Progress," as a way of communicating to others that  
the issue is being worked on? This will make it easier for everyone to  
go to the Bug Parade list and pick out the next available issue :-)
