Hello everybody,
I was an attendant of the Sakai conference last week in Amsterdam, where
I got a great impression of the interesting work of the Fluid Project.
I will be a Master's student at the University of Michigan's School of
Information (SI) from this fall. Through Joseph Hardin I got in
introduced to Sakai and I'm pretty much determined to get involved there.
My specialization at SI will be Human Computer Interaction, I have a
pretty strong web development background (PHP, XHTML, CSS, Javascript,
...) and I am very interested in all kinds of "interface issues"
(usability, user experience, accessability, ...) so I immediately was
attracted to the Fluid Project. For more information about myself you
can visit my website at: http://jkwebs.de/index.php?lang=en
I don't know yet where exactly I will be involved in Sakai and I right
now I'm working on my bachelor thesis for my current Germany university
so I don't really have a lot of time. But I wanted to take the chance
to introduce myself to the list, to tell you people I'm out there and to
keep up with what's going on inside the project.
Keep up the good work and hopefully I will get really involved in the fall.
